During HIMSS 2026, we celebrated our 2026 Best in KLAS winners at a special celebration. The evening brought together winning teams, as usual, and some of the providers whose voices that bring the Best in KLAS report to life each year. It is an we look forward to each year as we recognize the meaningful work being done across the healthcare IT landscape.
This year, we intentionally reimagined the format of the event. Rather than have a traditional sit-down presentation, we created a more dynamic, celebratory atmosphere with views of Las Vegas Boulevard, including the Bellagio fountains. The space felt less like a ceremony and more like a true celebration—complete with a DJ in the background, hors d’oeuvres, thoughtfully crafted beverages, and an energetic environment where winners could connect and celebrate together. Throughout the evening, each winning organization was highlighted as their logos were displayed across screens, ensuring every team had a moment in the spotlight.
Honoring the True Voice Behind Best in KLAS
One of the most meaningful changes we made this year was inviting a select group of providers to join the celebration. This was something we had never done before in KLAS history. This decision reflects what we (and any winner) know to be at the heart of Best in KLAS: the voice of the provider.
KLAS CEO Adam Gale offered a brief toast, congratulating all the winners and taking a moment to specifically recognize and thank the providers in attendance. He emphasized that the Best in KLAS awards and report simply would not exist without their candid feedback, experiences, and willingness to share their perspectives. Their insights are what give the awards credibility and purpose, and having the providers present added a deeper level of significance to the celebration.
What Vendor Excellence Means
While the event itself is a moment of recognition, it also represents what it truly means to be a Best in KLAS vendor. In some areas of healthcare IT, recognition can be influenced by visibility or marketing investment. Best in KLAS is different. These awards are grounded in direct feedback from providers, making them a reflection of how technologies and services perform in the real world.
