Look no further than July for the global update in both EHR market share and in healthcare IT trends—these popular reports are great for learning about how the healthcare technology market is doing around the world.
Among other published reports, you’ll get a follow-up report on ERP implementation services, and a look at what revenue cycle management suites are now offering customers in the face of a still-fragmented market. Be sure to also take a look at the KLAS Arch Collaborative report while you’re reading; it covers how Epic customers are currently using AI to take on work that has challenged clinicians for years.
For this fourth annual report on global healthcare IT (HIT) investment priorities, KLAS gathered insights from 182 healthcare organizations across 43 countries and territories outside the US. In particular, we focused on just how prevalent AI is becoming as an organizational priority, its impact on other IT investment areas, and the additional technologies organizations are prioritizing amid market pressures. Read the report to learn about the technologies that are generating the most excitement in the market, what organizations’ plans are for leveraging the cloud, and how they plan to engage consulting firms going forward.
Successful ERP adoption depends not only on selecting the right technology but also on how effective your implementation is. This means that experienced services firms can be critical partners in helping healthcare organizations navigate complex transformations and realize ROI.
Check out this follow-up report to individual reports KLAS published on implementation services for each of the main ERP software vendors: Infor, Oracle, and Workday. While those reports looked at services firms based on the specific platform being implemented, this report covers all ERP implementation firms validated by KLAS.
The market for revenue cycle management (RCM) technology remains fragmented, spanning EHR vendors, payer-provider networks, and a wide range of third-party technologies. In response, some vendors now offer integrated platforms that combine core capabilities such as claims management, eligibility verification, and related revenue cycle functions.
But many of these RCM suites were built through acquisition, creating broad solution portfolios with varying levels of integration and maturity. As healthcare organizations evaluate whether they should go “all in,” they need to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each suite and which vendors deliver the strongest overall experience and partnership.
That said, KLAS has yet to validate use of a truly end-to-end solution, so understanding the tradeoffs is critical for organizations making long-term technology decisions.
While EHR projects continue to be a high priority for healthcare organizations around the world, 2025 saw purchase decisions drop to a five-year low. Even still, KLAS validated 189 decisions that impacted 447 hospitals and over 81,000 beds. Read the report for the update on which 35 vendors were selected across 33 countries.
This latest Impact Report looks at how Epic customers in particular are using AI to take on work that clinicians have struggled with for years. This includes documenting visits, summarizing patient histories, finding the right information in patient charts, and keeping up with follow-up work.
To explore the reality of these outcomes, this report brings together early findings from two data sets: (1) data from 12 Epic organizations that have surveyed their clinicians about AI adoption and impact since January 2026 and (2) interviews with executive leaders at Epic organizations in the Arch Collaborative.
